The stage musical version of Nicholas Sparks' novel *The Notebook* will make its UK debut on the West End, with performances beginning at the Judi Dench Theatre (formerly the Shaftesbury Theatre) in April 2027, tickets go on sale today, Standard reported.

Co‑directed by Michael Greif and Schele Williams, the production features choreography by Katie Spelman and a score and lyrics by singer‑songwriter Ingrid Michaelson, who called it “such an honour” and “beyond thrilling.”

Sparks said he never imagined his 30‑year‑old story would still resonate globally, adding that the worldwide response has been “incredible.” The theatre will be officially renamed for Dame Judi Dench in February 2027, and the show opens on 13 April 2027 after previews from 10 March.
