At a media day held at the UCLA Health Training Center on September 30, Luka Doncic reportedly made five half‑court shots in 30 seconds, prompting a surprised reaction from teammate Austin Reaves, according to the New York Post.
Reaves was asked about playing alongside Walker Kessler when he stopped mid‑answer, observed the streak of shots and said, “Luka’s made five f–k… Five half‑court shots in the last 30 seconds. So, this is ridiculous. And he just made another one. I hate him,” before collecting himself.
The outlet notes that Doncic led the league in scoring last season with 33.5 points per game and had previously averaged 37.5 points, eight rebounds and 7.4 assists before a hamstring strain ended his postseason run.
Reaves, who signed a four‑year, $180 million contract in July, has a close on‑court rapport with Doncic, and the two have been highlighted in recent Felo News coverage as co‑leaders of the Lakers after LeBron James’ departure.
