Actress Kelsey Parker, 36, welcomed her first child, River, a week ago with boyfriend Will Lindsay and used her appearance on Good Morning Britain to discuss the five‑year grief that has shaped her life. The show aired on Monday, with host Susanna Reid asking Parker about the hardships she and her family have endured.
Parker opened the conversation by describing the loss of her son Phoenix, who was stillborn at 39 weeks last year, and the death of her late husband Tom Parker, a member of The Wanted who died of a brain tumour in 2022. She said the birth of River has become a source of hope for her and her family.
During the interview, Parker spoke candidly about the emotional toll of her pregnancy, admitting she suffers from PTSD. She added that her older children, Aurelia (six) and Bodhi (four), are "over the moon" about their new sister and that they have faced a lot of hardship, including the loss of a parent and a brother.
Parker also reflected on her recent relationship with Lindsay, whom she began dating in late 2024, and the support she has received from Tom Parker’s parents. She noted that Tom remains a presence in her home and that he is "alive" in their daily conversations.
