Kazakhstan’s Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) court issued injunctions on Tuesday, prohibiting six crypto platforms from providing digital‑asset services without licences and extending geographic restrictions to Google and Apple app stores, Cointelegraph reported.
The order, announced by the Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA), named BingX, Bitcoin.com, Huobi Global (HTX), BitMart, Coinbase and WEEX; an amendment three days later removed LBank after its operator blocked access in Kazakhstan.
AFSA said unlicensed platforms lack safeguards such as asset protection and dispute resolution, and warned more than 20 platforms about AIFC rules in 2025. Nine platforms voluntarily restricted app access, while seven intend to seek licences. The authority withdrew claims against the nine but will enforce injunctions against the remaining six.
