Defensive end Jared Verse said the Cleveland Browns have “no respect” for the Pittsburgh Steelers after a 27‑24 win that moved Cleveland to the top of the AFC North on Thursday night, according to the New York Post.

Verse described the Browns as having “new swag” and being “a lot more aggressive,” adding that the team will “make this whole city rock.” He also criticized the Steelers, saying, “You’re double‑team‑ing, y’all sliding, y’all garbage. I don’t got no respect for anyone who plays dirty and does extra sh‑t after the game.”

Despite a chippy contest that featured 14 penalties for 88 yards, the Browns held on after an offsides penalty gave Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers a chance to tie the game, then relied on a late field goal to win. Cornerback Denzel Ward intercepted Rodgers twice and joked, “I hope he keeps throwing at me.”

Coach Todd Monken cautioned that the team still has work to do, noting the three‑win streak is only the start of the season.
