The DP World International League T20 Season 5 player auction is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 1, at the ICC Academy Indoors in Dubai, Gulf News reported.
Over 200 cricketers from 23 countries will be on the block, grouped into price slabs of $80,000, $40,000 and $10,000. The top $80,000 tier includes Babar Azam, Phil Salt, Jonny Bairstow, Liam Livingstone, Faf du Plessis, Moeen Ali, Alex Hales, Wanindu Hasaranga, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Alzarri Joseph.
Each franchise enters the auction with a starting purse of $1.3 million, with MI Emirates holding the largest budget at $1.39 million. Teams must field squads of 18‑23 players, spending between $1.5 million and $2 million, and may add a wildcard for up to $250,000.
