The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) has announced that it detected excessive levels of the heavy metal cadmium in a dried lily bulb product available on the market. The finding was made during routine food sample testing. The bureau has ordered the business involved in packaging and selling the food item to stop its sale and has warned the public not to consume the product. The sample was collected from Agência Comercial “Lung Fat” located on Rua da Praia do Manduco and was found to contain a cadmium concentration of 0.536 ppm, which exceeds the limit.The post IAM detects high concentration...
