California Governor Gavin Newsom said Joe Rogan is a “bull‑**** artist” and that the podcaster is too scared to have him on his show, according to an interview released this weekend.
When YouTuber Shelby Church asked Newsom if he would appear on podcasts such as The Joe Rogan Experience, Newsom replied that Rogan “won’t have me on.” He added that Rogan “doesn’t want to be confronted with the bull‑**** he spews, particularly in the political sense.”
Newsom said he has a habit of reaching out to political opponents, citing past conversations with Fox News host Sean Hannity and conservative activist Charlie Kirk. He said he is “happy to confront” Rogan, but that Rogan “won’t do it.”
Rogan previously criticized Newsom on his show, calling him a “terrible” politician and accusing him of high unemployment and homelessness in California. The podcaster also called Newsom a “good bull‑**** artist” and suggested the governor’s only political advantage is a lack of competition.
