Enerflex Ltd. (TSX: EFX, NYSE: EFXT) said it has been awarded an engineered systems project to deliver roughly 450 megawatts of behind‑the‑meter natural‑gas power generation for a North American data‑center developer, according to a GlobeNewswire release published on Oct. 1, 2026.

The contract covers design, engineering, fabrication and assembly of the gas‑fired units, which will be integrated on‑site to meet the data centre’s electricity needs while operating independently of the local grid.

Enerflex described the award as a “major Engineered Systems (ES) project” and indicated that the work will involve its full suite of capabilities, from initial concept through to final installation.
