Variety reported that Lionsgate has greenlit the horror film “Portrait of God,” starring Golden Globe‑ and Emmy‑nominee Chase Infiniti. The project will be directed by emerging filmmaker Dylan Clark, whose upcoming “Blair Witch” reboot is slated for release next September.
Adam Fogelson, chair of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, said the studio is deepening its partnership with Clark, praising his “remarkable talent and distinctive perspective.” He added that with “Sam and Jordan, two of the genre’s most influential producers, the extraordinary Chase Infiniti starring, and Dylan at the helm, this is an exceptional creative team.”
Raimi and Peele will produce through Ghost House and Monkeypaw Productions respectively, while Joe Russo co‑writes the screenplay. Clark expressed excitement about working with Infiniti, calling her “one of the most exciting young actors working today.”
