BMW launches US pre‑orders for 2027 3‑Series gas and electric models

The German automaker announced pricing for the upcoming 2027 3‑Series range, including both gasoline and battery‑electric versions.

BMW said on Friday that it has opened its US order books for the 2027 3‑Series, offering both gasoline‑powered and battery‑electric variants.

The 2027 330 gasoline sedan starts at $49,900, while the all‑wheel‑drive 330 xDrive is priced at $51,900. Both use a 2.0‑litre four‑cylinder mild‑hybrid engine delivering 255 hp. The M350 xDrive, the first inline‑six model built at BMW’s Dingolfing plant, carries a $65,900 premium and features a 3.0‑litre engine with 437 hp and a “drift moment” function that can disconnect the front axle.

On the electric side, the i3 50 xDrive is listed at $61,500, compared with the 2026 i4 xDrive40 that starts at $62,300. BMW noted that pricing for the remaining electric variants will be disclosed closer to their launch dates. The company expects the first deliveries to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
