Hackers stole $953,000 from 48 cryptocurrency wallets belonging to nine traders who used the Telegram trading bot Bloom, draining the funds in 94 seconds, Cointelegraph reported.

What happened

Blockchain analytics firm Bitquery said the attack consisted of Solana (SOL) transfers signed with each wallet’s private key, allowing the thieves to move the money almost instantly.

What was said

Bloom pledged to reimburse all affected traders in full and later attributed the breach to a remote code execution flaw in a third‑party module, adding that no private keys were accessed or compromised.

How it came about

The incident follows earlier losses involving Telegram bots, including a September 2024 exploit of the Banana Gun bot that cost users about $3 million and an October 2023 attack on Maestro and Unibot that stole $1.1 million.
