Odell Beckham Jr. has been described as a key influence on New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers as the latter works back from a torn ACL and meniscus suffered in Week 4 of the 2025 season. The Athletic’s Jonathan Jones reported that a team source said Beckham "has been there for Nabers every step of the way" and that his own experience with two ACL tears helped boost Nabers’ confidence.
Nabers, who underwent surgery in late October and a cleanup procedure in the offseason, said on Thursday he is still building trust in his repaired knee and cited teammates and Darnell Mooney for encouragement. Beckham told The Athletic ahead of the season opener that returning from a major knee injury involves "fear and anxiety" and advised Nabers to wait until he feels ready.
