Atlas Entertainment partners with Culture Genesis to develop creator‑driven film and TV projects
The deal will tap Culture Genesis’ roster of 190 top YouTube creators, including iShowSpeed and Kai Cenat, for new productions.

Atlas Entertainment, led by veteran producer Charles Roven, announced a development agreement with Santa Monica‑based representation firm Culture Genesis, according to Variety. The pact calls for joint creation of film, television and short‑form titles drawn from Culture Genesis’ archive of creator‑economy talent.
Culture Genesis manages a collective of roughly 190 leading YouTube creators such as iShowSpeed, Kai Cenat, REACT, AMP, People vs Food and V10’s America’s Funniest Home Videos. Roven, whose credits include “Oppenheimer,” “The Dark Knight” and “Wonder Woman,” said the partnership will "redefine the path from digital to film and television and introduce audiences to the next generation of talent."
Culture Genesis founder and CEO Shaun Newsum added that the collaboration gives creators exposure to economics traditionally closed to digital‑native talent, noting that "the most valuable attention in media now lives with creators, not channels." President Fred Coates highlighted that Atlas recognized the collective’s broadcast‑scale, independently measured audiences as infrastructure rather than mere inventory.
The agreement reflects a broader industry shift toward leveraging social‑media creators for mainstream media projects, aligning with recent moves by other studios to partner with influencer‑focused firms.
