The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) signed a cooperation agreement on Oct. 8 at the India‑UAE Business Forum in Mumbai, Gulf News reported.
The pact, signed by ADCCI First Vice Chairman Dr. Ali bin Harmal Al Dhaheri and FICCI National Executive Member and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Vikramjit Singh Sahney, establishes joint working groups on clean energy, smart industry, Industry 4.0, the digital economy, smart infrastructure, investment and capital markets, as well as SME and startup financing.
It also sets up mechanisms for startups to access incubation and acceleration programmes in energy, fintech, healthtech and smart mobility, and enables Abu Dhabi‑based SMEs to tap FICCI’s international networks. Both sides will exchange trade delegations, share market research, technical expertise and training, and identify barriers to trade.
Al Dhaheri said the agreement creates practical channels that bring business communities closer together, while Sahney said it will open new channels for partnerships and investment across high‑growth sectors.
